We had an absolute ball at our Barefoot Lawn Bowls night on Friday 18th March. Lots of fabulous people turned up to enjoy a delicious BBQ dinner, with our DJ Luke Guastalegname spinning tunes to get us in the mood for a fun time. And of course, playing lawn bowls was a hit and everyone got in the spirit of the friendly comp. Who would have thought that a friendly match of barefoot bowls would be so competitive? Congratulations to all the winning teams!
The night was a great success and as a result of this event we raised $2,009.83 and HAVE FUNDED A NEW BLANKET WARMER for the Palliative Care Unit at the Werribee Mercy Hospital.
A special thank you to all of our volunteers that helped us on the evening Karen Hawkey, Joy Solomano and Robyn Close, we are extremely grateful for all of their help. So much goes on behind the scenes to make an event run smoothly and we couldn’t deliver without our supportive and generous volunteers.
Thank you to Councillor & Deputy Major Jasmine Hill for coming along and enjoying the evening as well as some of the WHF Board Members Chair Daniel MacDonald and Renay Ahmed
Enjoy our photos from the night below! Thank you to Imran for capturing so many great moments from Westend Photography
