Whilst the team at Werribee Hospital Foundation is small with only 1 full time and 1 part time staff members they are incredibly proud of their contribution to the health facilities of Werribee Mercy Hospital.

    • $1,500 Paediatric Monitors to be used in the emergency department

    Committed to contributing $100,000 towards the Digital CRC app and research.

    Saw several disbursements made to support the hospital.

    • $15,000 was given for a Rotem – a blood analyzing machine
    • $3,800 Special Care Nursery
    • $5,000 Clare Moore Ward – Mental Health
    • $40,000 Paediatric Ward
  • 2017-2018

    $425,000 was disbursed on the back of a successful partnership with Mercy Health in funding for the development of the Critical Care unit which opened in 2018.

  • 2016

    The foundation rebranded to Werribee Hospital Foundation

  • 2014

    $295,000 provided for 5 new anaesthetic machines.

  • 2012

    $200,000 provided for scholarships to clinical and non-clinical hospital staff to further the development of innovative practice and service improvement

  • 2005

    The Foundation company was created and was able to raise funds with DGR2 status.

  • 2004

    $100,000 contribution toward the purpose built, 12 bed Palliative Care Unit. The Unit provides a family centered environment and wonderful support for terminally ill patients.

  • 2003

    $300,000 contribution was made to the Mother and Baby Unit (MBU) which opened in September.

    The Mother and Baby Unit provides a safe and calm environment in which to strengthen the mother-baby bond and aids the recovery of mothers to enable them to live in the community with appropriate support

  • 1995

    $100,000 provided for much needed medical equipment to keep pace with advances in medical technology
