Leanne’s business, fundraising, marketing & communications career now spans 26+ years. Before joining Werribee Hospital Foundation she spent 3 years in an executive role for an environmental not-for-profit. Prior to that, 11 years were spent with a major international fundraising consultancy where she assisted a wide range of not-for-profit clients build successful and sustainable multi-channel fundraising programs. Her career also expanded over the sectors of advertising, law and printing.
Leanne brings wide-ranging experience and strategic nous to her role at the Foundation, where she is leading a dynamic team to help make a difference in the community and support the local public hospital in the City of Wyndham.
A born ‘people person’, Leanne enjoys connecting generosity to innovation to help ensure the community has the hospital services they need. She say’s, “I love meeting inspiring people through my work and I enjoy hearing their stories, what moves them and what motivates them to support the Foundation.”
Leanne studied marketing at university and is surrounded by many family members who work in the medical field.
When Leanne – known as Lee – is not at work, she is a proud mum of two boys and keeps herself very busy doing the sports activities run around with her husband, socialising with her much loved family and friends, and getting out and about exploring all that Victoria has to offer.
Stacey has a background in marketing, events and advertising with over 10 years experience in the not-for-profit sectors. She recently completed a Bachelor of Business majoring in both marketing and advertising to compliment her years of experience and further her knowledge.
Stacey has a true passion and talent for organising events. Watching community members come together to celebrate and support their locale brings her a lot of joy. She also enjoys working closely with volunteers, and places great importance on making them feel valued for the significant difference they make to fundraising campaigns. Her friendly and warm nature makes her the ideal person to engage with the community and ensures everyone she meets feels welcome.
Stacey is a Powerlifter in her spare time. She started powerlifting in her 30’s after the birth of her daughter as a way to keep active. Training up to 6 days a week, she has a dedicated focus on her sport which translates to her work and personal life. Stacey is also a budding gardener who enjoys tending to her indoor plant collection. During 2020 she began expanding to outdoor gardening and although she she has yet to master outdoor plants, she does enjoy her fruit trees and will happily engage in all gardening conversations.
