As the year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been part of Wyndham Health Foundation’s journey this year.
Your support has played a genuine role in what we have been able to achieve. Whether you volunteered your time, supported an event, donated, partnered with us, shared our work, or simply encouraged us along the way, your involvement truly mattered.
Together, we delivered the inaugural Wyndham Health Festival, a vibrant and ambitious first that brought clinicians, community members and partners together to share knowledge, connect, and celebrate health in all its forms. The energy, generosity and positive conversations on the day reflected exactly what the Festival was intended to be. Following its success, we are excited to share that the second annual Wyndham Health Festival will be held on 14 March 2026 at the Victoria University Werribee Campus, with more details to come in the New Year.
You also helped make the Wyndham Retro Motor Show a success. This unique event brought together a shared love of cars with honest conversations about mental health, connection and wellbeing, creating something that felt both meaningful and deeply community driven.
Through the Holiday of Hope appeal, your support enabled us to double the number of gifts delivered to the paediatric ward at Werribee Mercy Hospital, in partnership with Quest Werribee and Quest Caroline Springs. At the same time, alongside Rapid Relief Team, we were able to provide lunch for Mercy staff, acknowledging the care they give every day and offering a moment of appreciation during a particularly busy period.
None of this happened by chance. It happened because people chose to get involved. Some contributions were visible, others happened quietly behind the scenes, but every one of them helped move our work forward.
We are sincerely grateful for the trust placed in Wyndham Health Foundation and for the way our community continues to support our work. What stands out most is not just what we delivered this year, but how it was done, through generosity, collaboration, and a shared commitment to community wellbeing.
As we look ahead to 2026, there is much to build on and plenty of opportunity ahead. We are excited about what we can continue to create together.
We wish you a safe, restful, and meaningful holiday period, and thank you again for everything you have contributed this year.
With warm regards,
Christine Thornton
