We are extremely humbled by the support we received on the day and in the weeks leading up to the game. It was an absolute joy to witness the phenomenal energy from the patrons who came to watch both teams play the inaugural Wyndham Health Cup, showcasing the strong connection within our community. Congratulations once again to the Werribee District teams for their well-deserved victory.

Their contribution has made a significant impact on our ability to enhance public health care services for the Wyndham Community. In addition, our gratitude goes out to the Point Cook Football Club sponsors and supporters who attended a sponsors lunch and watched WHF CEO, Leanne Down present about the Foundation.  Their unwavering commitment to supporting continuous improvements in public health care is truly appreciated.

WYNDHAM BRICKFEST RAISED $5,000

Thank you Wyndham Brickfest for choosing Wyndham Health Foundation to be the 2023 Wyndham Brickfest Beneficiary, we are extremely grateful.

Wyndham Brickfest shared our mission to help raise funds for a Smileyscope Virtual Reality Headset and raised $5,000.

We were thrilled to witness the amazing creations built with LEGO at Hoppers Crossing Secondary College. It was an event filled with creativity, imagination and fun!

The cost of a SmileyScope is $6270!

We have an urgent mission at hand! We need your help to raise $1,270 difference needed to contribute towards purchasing a SmileyScope virtual reality headset for Werribee Mercy Hospital. These incredible devices play a crucial role in improving the treatment experience for children who undergo medical procedures. By immersing them in engaging virtual experiences, the SmileyScope reduces the need for sedatives and provides a much-needed distraction.

But we can’t do this without your support! Together, we can make a significant impact on the lives of these brave children. Remember, no contribution is too small – each dollar gets us closer to our goal. So join us today in this vital mission to bring smiles to their faces!

CARMEL FILIPPONE GIFTS $6,000 FOR PAEDIATRIC COT TO MOTHER AND BABY UNIT

Carmel learned about Wyndham Health Foundation’s mission and decided to donate a paediatric cot to the Mother and Baby Unit, which offers mental health treatment for mothers and babies during the first year of life. Mental illness at this crucial time can affect the mother-infant relationship, but Mother & Baby Units strive to keep mothers and babies together while providing specialised staff to support them.

Around 1 in 5 pregnant women will experience a mental health problem during pregnancy or after giving birth. Carmel’s generous gift, worth over $6,000, was deeply appreciated by Leanne and the Wyndham Health Foundation. Carmel has previously sponsored the Foundation and continues to support our mission to improve public healthcare in Wyndham.
